Flatford Mill



A Beautiful place to spends a few hours. Willy Lotts' House was built in the 1500's and made famous by John Constable's 'Haywain' painting. People travel for miles to see this house, the mill, visit the Constable museum and hire canoe's, kayaks or paddle-boards. Cafe situated on the riverbank.

Seal Watching



Departing from Harwich Hapny Pier this trip will take you through Hamford Water Nature Reserve. Lots of seals live here all year round alongside a large variety of birds so this boat trip, which lasts between 90 to 120 minutes, is perfect at anytime of the year. It is a truly lovely boat trip. * This needs to be pre-booked due to tides.

Colchester Zoo



A great zoo with animals that are very well looked after. If you visit their website you will see all of the amazing events they put on for all ages including Zoo Keeper for the day, photography workshops for adults and one's for teenagers too, Kids Zoo Academy and much, much more.

Sutton Hoo

The 2021 British drama film 'The Dig' is about the 1939 excavation of Sutton Hoo in Suffolk. Only a forty minute drive away, Sutton Hoo is the site of two early medieval cemeteries dating from the 6th to 7th centuries near the pretty port and market town of Woodbridge (also worth a visit). Archaeologists have been excavating the area since 1938, when a previously undisturbed ship burial containing many Anglo-Saxon artefacts was discovered.

There is so much to see and do here. The golf park offers a range of activities from Footgolf, a 9 hole course, golf simulators and the fun Pirate themed crazy golf course. You can also visit the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, a mini-maze, adventure frame play area, the Meerkat Kastle, a vintage vehicle museum or just enjoy a day relaxing whist fishing and much, much more.

Colchester Castle and Castle Park



Built when Colchester was the first Roman capital of Britain, Colchester Castle is the largest Norman Keep in Europe. With lots to explore and learn and with interactive displays and star exhibits this is an enjoyable place to visit for all ages. The castle has a beautiful park attached to it and even squirrels that will eat out of your hand!

Jump Street



A massive indoor trampoline park in Colchester that provides an adrenaline rush for all ages. Jump Street has an Open Jump areana, Slam-dink, Big Bag, Dodge Ball court and the first Wall Trampoline introduced in the UK. Many adults love it here but if you would rather watch then there is a cafe overlooking all activities.

Aqua Springs Colchester
